Conceptual flow path:

  1. Upstream system: Air or gas reaches the upstream side of the selected fan system.
  2. Inlet connection: The inlet connection guides the stream to the fan.
  3. Industrial fan: The rotating fan transfers energy to the air or gas, enabling movement against system resistance.
  4. Outlet connection: The stream leaves the fan through its outlet connection and continues through the system.
